Are You a Candidate for Permanent Makeup?

Your safety and the quality of your healed results are extremely important to me. Your skin is my canvas, and its condition can directly affect how your permanent makeup heals and looks over time.

Medical Eligibility

For safety reasons, I am unable to perform permanent makeup if any of the following apply:

You are pregnant or nursing
You are an insulin-dependent diabetic
You have mitral valve prolapse
You are currently taking warfarin
You have a history of keloid formation when healing

If you have a medical condition, take prescription medication, or are unsure whether something may affect your procedure, please let me know before booking your appointment.

Preparing for Your Permanent Makeup Appointment

Proper preparation helps your skin respond well to your procedure and can make a difference in both your healing and your final results.

General Preparation

• Avoid excessive sun exposure or tanning before your appointment. Your skin should not be sunburned or freshly tanned at the time of your procedure.

• Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments or other aggressive skin treatments in the procedure area before your appointment.

• If you use prescription skin products or have recently had cosmetic treatments in the area being worked on, please let me know before your appointment.

Brows

• Avoid chemical peels, laser treatments or aggressive exfoliating treatments around the brow area before your appointment.

• If you receive Botox around the forehead or brow area, I prefer that the effects be mostly worn off before your permanent brow appointment so I can evaluate your natural brow position and facial movement. Whenever possible, schedule your permanent brows before your next Botox treatment.

Eyeliner

• Eyelash extensions must be completely removed prior to your eyeliner appointment.

• Discontinue oil-based eye makeup removers and oils around the eye area before your appointment. An oil-free eye makeup remover is recommended.

• If you use an eyelash growth serum such as Latisse or another lash-enhancing product, please let me know before scheduling. You may need to discontinue use prior to your procedure.

• Contact lenses must be removed before your eyeliner procedure.

Lips

Lip procedures require additional preparation. If you are approved for a lip appointment, I will provide you with specific pre-procedure instructions based on your individual needs prior to your appointment.
